Apple says the copyright law working its way through the French
parliament amounts to nothing less than "state-sponsored piracy".
The lower house of the French legislature on Tuesday passed a bill that
would force Apple to make its downloads work on all digital music
players and not just on the its iPod.

Microsoft is launching legal action against 100 phishing gangs based in
Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
By the end of March, 53 cases will have begun said Microsoft, with all
100 filed by the end of June.

porn, piracy.

Claria, one of the leading
Adware/Spyware companies, is said to be converting to a decent company.
In the process, they are trying to sell their GAIN software. GAIN has
been one of the worst annoyances for many years. What?s already for sure
is that the database containing all data collected from users running
GAIN will be deleted.
Google has launched their new Finance site:
finance.google.com.
Take a look at the web site and try it out. Search for your favorite
company, and experiment with the interactive graph and linked news
stories. You?ll also see the company?s key people and a lot of other
information, including blog postings, all in one page. Pretty cool!
